We have submitted requests to Google News and Yahoo News. We also submit all of our press releases to around 20 other PR sites. At the moment I'm in the process of coding a script to automate this so we can expand it to hundreds. Fixed now, this was only on ISRrg.uk. Your press release is on.

This is excellent. I'll definitely use this one. There's no catch at all? Are anchor text links don't have nofollow tags on them?
You can see if they have been accepted from the control panel when you log in. It's done in batches - every 12 hours. If you have submitted any, they should be approved by now. There's no catch - just trying to get the word out. All links are do-follow.
