Hi i have been banned twice from google adsense and i suppose it must be my fault somehow i would imagine they don't just cancel accounts for nothing i suspect it could be my traffic i purchase traffic from forums using newsletter broadcasts and reading the TOS i have discovered using paid to read emails is not allowed now i suspect the seller of the newsletter has used such networks without advertising the fact he does but i shouldnt of used this traffic so i am taking responsibilty. Anyway's i am moving on but my problem is both times i had a balance in my account and now that is lost i think adsense is very unstable and risky to use so what are my alternatives to generate revenue would you suggest i go with. adsense similar programs, clickbank or use a banner rotation of different affiliate programs i have joined through CJ and shareasale.com Because with affiliate programs the commisions are higher but it means making a sale and without alot of traffic making a sale may take a long time were i would have earned some good adsense also clickbank it is a good one but i have used them and about 7 out of 10 commisions i made were later refunded so i stopped using them. Any advice appreciated.
Well you can join my club then now. I was banned then rebanned when using my wifes info. Completely gave up hope with them 1 year later and about 10 rejection reinstantment emails.
I make over $6K/month on clickbank alone, clickbank is good shit. You just need to be more creative. that's my 1 cent
I do like the idea of clickbank and i know they have new rules on abuse of refund policy. I would use the ad blocks to advertise the products but does anyone know is clickbank has as strict rules as adsense.
Hmm sorry to hear, Azoogle is a good way but its a totally different approach than to making people just click.
Join the club. Adsense is moving into directions that mean a lot of publishers will be banned. CLickbank is good, cj I would place at the very bottom of any way to monetize a website.
Good point. I think eventually Google wants to get rid of any site created with Adsense in mind over content. Which means about 95% of the people on this forum.
I have just spent time reading other adsense horror stories on the internet and in DP i think i am being convinced not to try again to apply to adsense i am however thinking of clickbank in coordination with some good affiliate banner's through Commission Junction.
Looking back at it i should have not joined adsense again i make more using ebay affiliate program than i have ever made from adsense but it was just the ease of adsense with the ability to earn per click which is appealing on a low traffic site.
My first advice is to use some periods! LOL. Seriously, I'm so used to stopping when I see a period, that when someone doesn't use a period, I keep reading like an idiot. But anyways, you probably got banned the second time because they figured out you already had a banned account, and they don't allow a second account to banned publishers. As to alternatives, I wouldn't give up on CPC just yet. You can always try the various alternatives, Adbrite, Clicksor, Bidvertiser, etc. Try to get into Yahoo PUblishing Network if you're a US citizen. And you're right, affiliate sales is very difficult, and more often than not it takes money to make affiliate sales.
I have decided on my new advertising strategy and i am now not worried about not using adsense. Considering potential earning with my new affiliate banner i have placed on my site it out measures anything i made with adsense anyway. I am stuck on 1 more thing which is best azoogle or adbrite. Thank you
I was thinking of trying a third time but it just isn't worth it when i make them money then get banned and i don't even receive the outstanding balance. I will likely wait for the email from adsense to see why i got banned and then appeal and then go on from there depending on the reason i could try again, but the reason may be as i was previously banned.
