YouTube Not So Lonelygirl

A recent thread about the YouTube marketing potential got us thinking about the best way to go about it. We tarted a couple accounts and made couple very ametuerish videos. we found that videos have a tendency to get lost in the large number of daily submissions.

The key to generating viral progression within YouTube is to make it to the most viewed of the day pages, at least in one of the subcategories.

The easiest way to do this is to create hype outside of YouTube and send as many viewers as possible as quick as possible. (YouTube seems to like that)

We have access to many MySpacer's with large friend counts and a large amount of traffic at our website.

My thought was to offer a "Video Premier" service that would generate hype about a video just before it's added to YouTube and start sending a ton of viewers to it as soon as it is added to YouTube to get it notices.

Does anyone see a need or a potential for a service like this?

So far this is what we've come up with TubeBling

i heard about this new web 2.0 site www.youcast.tv its still in development. Aparently its going to over ride youtube/google video ect.. Youtube gets approx 100million visitors but apparently there is a company investing loads into developing a new web 2.0 site better than youtube wich will emerge blogs/podcasting/video share.

I shoudnt accually be telling any one about it as its in development but.. I think it may be good to know.

Just add something i forgot to say "the company who are investing are doing it as cheap as possible, there buying unlimeted space and putting loads and loads into advertising"

I dont think any one could challange youtube but if there wanting to spend alot of money it could be done i think. There plan is to pay for over 6million pr5+ backlinks in the next month or two i heard and they are attracting some of the worlds biggest SEO's with the idea. The thing is about it. The site will be completly uniqe in a way, there is ideas that are patented wich i know about that are amazing. The site should do good.

Its alot easier to use a decent refresher or fake ip sender which has a large list of proxy ips built in and create the thousands of views to make it to the most viewed list.

Sounds llike a similar animal to using bots at MySpace. It will work for the short term but they will eventually crack down on such "shortcuts" and in the long run all you've got is a banned account with them.

Whats your point? Same with myspace if your account is banned you create a new one. If your talking about youtube as a way to make your video popular and promote your site it doesnt matter if your account gets banned. Also myspace havent put a stop to bots in the years bots have been available so who says youtube will?

Yes if you get banned you can just start a new accunt. That puts you right back at square one.

I prefer to work with a business plan that doesn't involve putting me on a hamster wheel.

this is not a new idea, I was using this marketing Idea like 3 months ago,

I have had many many videos, one the most viewed pages and had many video's in the 200 000+ range my old network had 3 million views.

If you advertise your product too much on a video youtube will just destroy your account, yes it has happened to me my network with 3 million hits was just taken down one day by youtube.

http://www.advancescripts.com/detailed/138.html, or www.i-faker.com there are plenty of programs which will get you thousands of views on ebay, youtube, top lists or whatever.

Sending myspace bulletins to peoples youtube videos is hardly a business plan and is just as much a risk as using fake hit generators. Youtube wont want people paying to have there videos spammed on myspace and then make it on the top viewed no more then they will want you using fake hits..

It was successful with NewNuma.com I learned that very day that he was paying THOUSANDS of $ for a good video/animation with their song in it.

Bffft another annoying plug. Dammit if you want to plug your site there is something called a SIGNATURE. You can also try the website review forum. But don't spam your crappy site in the wrong forum.

Also, whats up with everyone trying to monetize averything. Why cant we enjoy youtube for what it is? It is bcause of excessive monitization that email is crap and google SERPS are increasingly filled with spam.

Also, read up on some web design 101. Flash intros?

Also if this service is such a money maker for the customer why not use it yourself to get on the front page? Are you tellling me that your service is 'only' worth 99 bucks cause judging from all the BS hype in your post it should be worth much more-unless of course it is just BS which I would not be surprised if that were the case.
