Buy a domain name for yourself then download wordpress script from wordpress.org and buy a hosting for that. Thats all.

buy the domain from godaddy, buy hosting at hostgator, set the nameservers at godaddy to point to hostgator, then use fantastico (in the hostgator cpanel) to upload wordpress....and wolla all done

takes me about 10 minutes...and it may seem complicated but trust me this is the simplest way to go.

Wordpress is probably the best and most popular.

But if you want to stay with blogger, they give you the option to set up your own domain right there.

    Go to Settings/Publishing

Pretty much all shared hosting companies with PHP+MySQL let you run blog script (like wordpress) on your domain.

You need to buy some hosting. Godaddy, Hostgator, HostHead, should all suit your needs and for a good cost.

buy a hosting with fantastico feature on it and a domain. it didn't cost a lot, and also you could search for coupon from go daddy or name.com, and hostgator and you`ll get cheaper prize too

Well here are the step by step guide:-
    1. go to godaddy.com buy your domain name there. You will get for 5-6$ easily.Pm me if you need any promotional code by using which you will get 10-20% discount.
2.There is no need to buy an hosting space from any hosting service as you can simply redirect your blogspot blog to your purchase domain name. This configuration can be done via godaddy.com.PM me if you need step by step guide for doing so as I can not write all of it here because it is too big.
3.Go to your blogger.com then go to setting and change your blogspot url to new purchased url.
4.Now you are done.Any user who is using ur blogspot url will automatically redirected to this new domain.

    Happy Blogging!!!!

When I started out, I got a domain from GoDaddy and then hosting with Host Gator.
I don't recommend you use GoDaddy for hosting because if you want to change servers, you're going to be in a nightmare.
