Fileserve is loading at an appropriate speed.

Remote isn't slow at transferring files. It is because it has queued your file and hasn't started it yet. You're most likely in a queue since it is peak hour.

We have implemented a system that restricts a user taking all the slots. It is just everyone is taking one each and we don't have enough :) Only solution is to add more servers, and so we are.

hi rickyfs! i've been with fileserve already for about 2 weeks, i think. but i'm a bit hesitant to go on because there's a much better site that pays for downloads, and for premium sales generated on links. if fileserve can implement the same payment system, i'm very very sure that a lot of uploaders will switch to this site in no time. yes, i'm satisfied with fs, but i just want to make a suggestion for the betterment of the site. thanks rickyfs! :)

    @ clang3104: Here's your incentive:

    -We don't cheat with downloads
-Our downloads are much preferred by free users because they get decent speed
-Our downloads are much preferred by free users because they only have to wait 10 min. in-between files.
    -Free users don't get captchas

We already pay out high enough. We will continue with this plan as we think long term and not short term.

by the way rickyfs, i have another question. i've been posting my links in different forums. can i add the links of the forum sites to the "webmasters add site links" to be qualified to that 5% premium sales payment system? or do the sites have to be registered domains? thanks!

No you cannot. You need to be the owner of the websites to be eligible for this.

@ Saxford: FTP files should appear now. Can you check - Did it give you .complete?

@ clang3104: No you cannot. You can share your folder with people.

I got private offer from Fileserve, and doing research on them and found this thread. Seems to pay 25 times more than of megaupload. Will try it out.

    Hi everyone.
I am having trouble uploading files on FS. Every time I try to do it using Mozilla browser, gives me an error. For Chrome browser it doesn't even start. Tried with Internet Explorer too, but it takes me as long as 2-3 hours/400MB file (I don't dare to upload bigger anymore).
I used to have no problems, uploaded 500MB in 10 minutes. So what happened now?

    Here's an example:

@ canaia: New servers will come eventually.

@ TRE2K4: We had some servers that were configured incorrectly. We will be fixing these.

@ trener456: Sure buddy. We've paid everyone from day 1.

@ SatinChic: With IE it should work. We have only had reports of Firefox giving us a pain in the neck. You tried via FTP?

@Ricky: I did manage to upload with IE from my computer this morning, but now it is stuck. Gives me errors after 5 minutes. Any ideas?
