right now its the .coms mostly that you will see shift

i have the .net of this
    3dlcdtv.com sold on Jun 28,2010 for $375.00
i have the .info of this

not saying i am going to shift these just nice to see that :)

heres one i am going to let out there for opinions
bearing in mind these are all old sales
    3d-web.net 2009 $3,000.00 Sedo
    3dweb.net 2009 $3,750.00 Sedo
    web3d.com 2009 $14,301.00 NameJet
    web3d.de Mar 14,2007 $891.00 Sedo
    web3d.net Oct 26,2006 $840.00 Afternic

Ok it is quite normal. You have good domain names but the technology is not completely out there right? Meaning no market. Think this way: the person who is going to buy your domains probably thinks
    a) If I buy this domain, I can find someone to sell it for a higher price.
    b) I can build a great ecommerce site on this and start selling my own stuff.

Unfortunately, there are some people in this thread who are so blind that can't understand this concept.

    ADAM...3DPC.net

    if that's me .. i hold it.
This industry is not RIPE for FLIPPING yet.
    You need some maturity.
When you spent that $300 you should have spent that $300 with the idea that you WON'T be getting that back for a little while.

i mean.. unless you need the money, totally different story and then of course, LIFE comes first...
... but if you're asking just for the hell of it - i'd hold that for a bit Adam.... i highly doubt you risked $300 to only get $300

    just my $0.02 :)

It could...but I think 3d Tvs have a ways to go. UNtil they can do 3d without glasses, their appeal will be limited at best.

i don't know Iain... the .us market is very unpredictable and divided... either people love them or hate them, so that by itself limits your audience, not to mention the global appeal/usage.

Funny enough, i have WEB-3D.us myself and not sure how excited i feel about it just yet.

Going back to what we were talking about before, with premium dot-coms being the first to start selling off... how long do we have to wait for the .us names to mature and become viable options?... a lot longer, i'm sure.

I happen to like the .us names... especially the 3d .us names i have (KILLER NAMES!), but when it comes time to trim my renewals, .us may be one of the first to go, unfortunately as the ceiling here is much lower.

    in 0ther 3d news:

"It's official: 'Thor' and 'Captain America' will be 3-D films"
It's official: The hammer of Thor and the shield of Captain America will fly straight at moviegoers in 3-D, which is really no surprise considering the current stereoscopic craze on the studios lots of Hollywood. What is unusual is the eagerness of each film's director to take his case for 3-D directly to the fans at Comic-Con International.‬‪"

I think Im best holding onto my 3D domains, the best of the few i have are prrob - 3DPLAYER.NET, 3DAMATEUR.COM, 3DMOBILEPHONE.NET, 3DSMARTPHONE.CO.UK, 3DSMARTPHONES.CO.UK. I have had a few offers for 3dplayer.net and even though i really want to sell Id be daft to right now as the market has just opened and in about 2 years the domain might even be worth low to mid £x,xxx . Its hard to just keep hold as the name of the game is to make money and everyone wants it yesterday including myself, good things come to those who wait. I do think the person who sold 3DMOBILEPHONE.COM for $250 might start self harming in 2 years time when he learns it might be worth £xxx, xxx , might be wrong but bet im right!

Found a pretty INTERESTING article regarding to Trademark names.... it's not 3d related, but being as we have spoken so many times about TM names, i thought i'd share it here.

The crux of the story is that some small couple was being sued by Toyota (TOYOTA!!) for their website(s)/domain(s): Buy-A-Lexus.com and BuyorLeaseLexus.com.
"Farzad and Lisa Tabari are auto brokers. They contact authorized dealers, solicit bids and arrange for customers to buy from the dealer offering the best combination of location, availability and price" .. they also use the lexus name, logo and photo's - without permission.

    Long story short....
.... The Tabari's went up against Toyota - represented by .. THEMSELVES
    .. and WON!!!!

at one point, the judge in his ruling actually scolds Toyota (imagine!)
"Instead, Toyota is using this trademark lawsuit to make it more difficult for consumers to use the Tabaris to buy a Lexus."

The article is a bit long, but it reads well and the interest we all have in it makes it go by much quicker... but pretty interesting stuff.

    whole article here---> http://www.thedomains.com/2010/07/1...ain-case-buy-a-lexus-com-buyorleaselexus-com/

**disclaimer.. i am not condoning tm names or suggesting it is ok to grab tm names... this story is not about cybersquatting ... but more about intent and good faith. **

    njoy all :)

I'm no expert at domain appraisals. But based on the other sales you posted, 3d-web.us might do pretty well. Good luck!

I was going to put this question in appraisal section, but since its 3D related I'll ask here. What do you guys think these are worth? Which one would you say is the most valuable? Thinking about selling, but have no idea what to ask or what is worth. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated... thanks! All are dot coms unless shown otherwise.
