what if Google stop to update page rank?????

As life player mentioned, most users have no idea what it is. It's mainly for us web masters. I don't really see Google stopping the Page Rank updates, we just might be experiencing a delay due to the holiday weekend. But... this is Google were talking about. They have all the control, maybe they just haven't got around to it yet.

It doesnt really a matter. Many internet user dont even know about PR

PR become a huge obsession when in reality there are more important things than it, just no one cares about them

 

Page rank only really matters to advertisers because it shows them what kind of quality traffic you're site is getting.

 

If Google stop using PR, then, life goes on for me.

 

PR is important for websites. Every website is determine through PR. If PR is stop then there will be another parameter for doing the same.............

 

PR has not much weight and means almost nothing but still it is important. People like it, people use it so there is no reason to remove that option.

If they ever do it, I think they would be doing a huge favor to the webmaster's world and would really help many people focus their effort and energy in the right direction!

Pagerank is only calculated from links. Not traffic, not quality content, and not anything else you might guess.

 

Are you saying this because your websites have non?
It seems that people that have never got any real high pager rank in their hands say that. Wait till you have PR6 or PR7 site, see if it has no value. In the world of Google, Pagerank does and will matter and I am not talking just about link sales.

 

First of all, pagerank rights are completely with google. And if google decides to remove the pagerank, it will be too difficult for all its algo to work. Also more people will not judge any site or blog according to google standards, they might move to alexa or yahoo's results. I am sure google will loose more if they remove the pagerank theory.

 

I think it doesn't matter as long as your site is ranking... most website owner doesn't care about PR but SERP and sales.

 

It doesn't matter too much if Google stops updating pr.People will get used to the days without prs.
