I recommend that you get your own domain ($14.99/year), and make the domain show your Wordpress blog. This means when people type in "www.yourdomain.com" they will see your wordpress blog.

After you get a lot of adsense clicks, get your own hosting account ($6-$10/month), set up a wordpress blog on it (separate from wordpress.com), and transfer all your blogs to the hosting space. Then you can remove that redirect so that the domain doesnt show the wordpress blog anymore, but it shows the new wordpress blog with all the transferred blogs.

Note: you may have to transfer the blogs manually.

    True

    Not true for free-hosted blogs.

If you want to display Adsense, you have to pay for a self-hosted blog at Wordpress.org. Alternatively, you can use Blogger for free and display all the ads you want.

You are using Wordpress.com ( the free wordpress hosted blog ) and thus you can not add google adsense or other CPC ads or banners.
You need to pay to be able to put ads in your website.

A better idea would be buy a domain and hosting for cheap and get your own self hosted wordpress which has no restrictions at all.
