I usually save them in firefox and text files.. but firefox crashes, so nothing is secure enough how do you handle that?
For a while I used a program called Password Safe, but that was too troublesome so now I just store them in Opera and click on the "wand" to login everywhere. Very unsecure and also has the effect that I never remember any password, so if I use another computer or browser I'm screwed.
papers get lost i think i got at least 5,000 passwords in my firefox now and I also use mozbackup to do back ups to firefox.. but still not enough heh Looking for some encrypted solution.. I've heard about special encrypted disks where you can store sensitive information. do you kno anything about it?
Password Safe is encrypted, and you only need to remember one master password to access the program itself. Check it out! If you just want to store text files on an encrypted disk you could take a look at Drivecrypt or similar product.
I put them all in a plain text file, then use WinZip to encrypt it with 256-bit AES encryption and a complex password (mix upper/lowercase, numbers, and special characters).
I safe my password in : Mozilla Notepad Microsoft Word (with password) My cellphone An image that show all my password, and i safe that picture in a hidden place and the best safe is : IN MY MIND
Papers work for me and Have you heard Roboform ? Mostly all my good passwords on my secrets gmail accnt......
I use my memory to remember the passwords. I advise that you have the passwords noted down & then hand-over the paper to someone else.
well I can remember a couple 7-8 letters long random passwords, but keeping in memory few thousands passwords would be a challenge
