PR1 is easy. You only need a few links... just submit your site to directories and you will probably have enough for PR1. The next thing is to wait until next PR update. Big PR updates are happening in approximately 6 months.

You can even have PR2 without incoming links, just with a nice structured website... but, the better links you get and the higher number of links the higher pr you will get... and PR is not updated daily but every few months so you should wait :)

PR1 isn't that hard indeed. I got a PR1 within a month for a new website. If you use backlinks with the same keywords as in your domain name then I'm sure you'll get a PR1 quick enough! :D

Well simple way is to create a blog and update it on daily basis and bookmark you articles on different places, and submit your website link on different directories, this technique will not only increase your PR but also bring Hugh traffic to your website

Fastest I got PR 2 in 2 weeks, I think that was by luck, I just made the site put some articles and put the site on one of my PR3 site's blogroll will no other outgoing links.

Google PR update for Every 4-5 months...

So easy, you submit to a highpr directory, then you'll get PR 3 or higher PR at the next PR update

It is not necessarily easy at all. My site has many different backlinks some of them very high and has always been a 0 for many months now. Starting from early April. BUT it ranks decently for some keywords so you don't need PR necessarily.
