I Seriously Need Help with ......

    Hello everyone,

A few months back I created an autoblog. This Wordpress blog is currently targeting three keywords. My main keyword is currently ranked #1 in Google (USA). And the other two keywords are not doing so well (One is ranked #98 in Google and the other keyword is not even ranked in the first 100 results). So with that said, how can I get the other two keywords to #1 in Google (USA)?

This is what I have done so far:

    • Each keyword is present at least once in the main meta title and description
    • All three of my keywords are mentioned on my home page (static page).
    • I also have separate pages that are themed around each keyword

Now with that said, what else can I do to rank the other two keywords? I was thinking of doing some forum and blog posts (using my keyword as anchor text).

I was also thinking of submitting two articles to EzineArticles. These articles will include a link back to my pages optimized for the particular keyword (will include anchor text link with my keyword).

Is this the best way to rank these keywords? If not, can you please offer some suggestions?

    Thank you,
    Gordon

Hey Gordan, Have you tried getting quality genuine backlinks for your autoblog. If you are targetting some keywords, you should focus on getting some quality and high PR forum profile backlinks. Yes they help you get your keywords rank faster than anyone else. Also when you try to get some quality backlinks, make sure you change your anchor text most of the times, google loves that ;)

    Thanks for the reply!

So which is better when adding links to a forum profile:

    1. Add only one link (pointing to main page)
    2. Or add three links (one pointing to main page, and the other two pointing to two different internal pages).

These links will of course be anchor text links, and will also point to pages optimized for the particular keyword. What do you think? Which approach is best? How many profile links should I get? And should I ping and submit an RSS feed for these forum profile links?

    Thanks,
    Gordon

Yes you are right, get as many as forum profile pages directing to your page as possible. Basically it depends on you whether to direct these pages to your homepage or inner pages. I would prefer to get them on the homepage for the keywords you are targeting. For more help on getting such type of forum sites, I have given all DP members a free access to all the high quality forums to create profile links, check this out :

    Hope this helps you ;)

    Thanks for the list!

Do these links need to be relevant to my blog? Does it matter if I post a link on a gaming forum if my blog is themed around "cooking"?

    Thanks again,
    Gordon

Maybe the other two keywods are more hard to do rank on google. So you can do more backlinks for your blog with that two keywords in text link.
