Hi, Need a logo for a new site I will be building. This new site will be about the Battlefield games: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlefield_(series) While the site will mention the older games, it will focus on the forthcoming new Battlefield 3 - the domain name is BF3.co.uk logo needs to be no more than 400px wide - depth no more than 200 maximum. Quite like the idea of some kind of tag, similar to this site , though equally happy with some more inventiveness on your part. Colours, steel, orange, blues ... Hi everyone! Okay ... incomebiz - Looking good! Could you add some subtle colour? SatrDT - Sorry, looks so similar to other sites, and a bit, well not-powerful. Think strong, bold ... dbdesign - Getting there. More texture and some subtle colour. vaibhavmeswani - Make the graphic text BF£ bolder, more contrast. Lose the white text. Make the web address thinner - not sure of colour orange. Your second post not on right track, but your third postI quite like. Same things about white and orange text though. Could you have the background you have be like a rusty piece of torn jagged metal? knique - Nice! Like the rusty metal feel. Could you make the edge of the text a bit darker ... I am not quit sure which ede the bright metal underneath, or the edge of thin rust metal adjacent to the bright metal underneath....I will give it a shot not sure how it will effect the intergity
Okay ... Just to be clear - I'll visit and respond 2 or 3 times a day - UK times. vaibhavmeswani - Prefer the top one of the two in Post 17. As I said before, take out the white text, it's not going to be a community ... but despite my thought about making the orange text thinner, quite like it bold like that. All I would say, is try to make the whole graphic self-contained, as if it's a piece of metal that's been blown off something. Re #19 - prefer top one in #17. Knique - It's just about making the edge a bit harder ... Thanks all! VSC
