create user defined URL

    I have a facbook account but my profile Url is some thing like this
    http://www.facebook.com/123bkghjkfgh?..

    i want it like this

    http://www.facebook.com/myname

    how can i do it.

    You can easily change it on the Settings page.

    I did mine by going to account>account settings>account url. But that was a whilse ago.

    Reasons why you can't get the name you want: It's too short, taken (sorry it happens), it's a single common word (facebook blocked them), it's offensive language (also blocked).
