People aren't dumb. Its just that before ordering they don't know its not an actual downloads site. After they become a member, 25% of them request a refund, another 25% get tired of emailing the owner and forget about it while the other ones either don't care or don't know what to do next.

It's no worse than any of the diet/relationship/health products that provide the same info already available for free via Google search...

I think putting an iframe on a free website is definitely worse...at least those health/relationship products are (somewhat) unique and re-written content.

This is very scammy indeed. I wonder if clickbank does not mind 25% refund rate, must look bad for their visa and mastercard processing account.

No, you are wrong there :) A lot of them are helpful too. Those health products often tell people about natural cures that many times work very well. True that the information is available for free, but you can't learn everything at a single site or web page that learn in an ebook.

I can learn French on my own or visit the library and check out books yet there are still book stores (local & online) and language programs available for cost.
You can also skip college and just educate yourself.

However - there are advantages and conveniences to the commercial alternatives each time (book is readily available & you get to keep it, you have access to a professor and sorority girls etc..etc..).

With MyPadMedia - there isn't any advantage to paying. They could just go directly to the correct URL. I gotta hand it to that guy - not my cup of tea to do something like this - but it's pretty hilarious that he's pulling this off.

    ClickBank FTW!

I'm pretty sure he could get into serious legal trouble for what he's doing. Feedbooks.com could sue him (and win) pretty easily.

All said and done, it's a product that people are willing to pay for. The market determines price. If mypadmedia is able to sell a product that is free, it reflects poorly on those who are giving the content away. I'd never do it, but I can see why somebody would take advantage.

If the vendors turns up, then definitely refund rate would be more higher in this case. So he/she is not responding.
