Ok, basically, the forum i received this PM on is just a free forum my mate set up ages ago for MCLA on the ps3, its got like 455 members and its fairly active. anyway this is a PM i got first For some reason it wont let me post the text so ive just put it as an image Anyone think its a scam? thanks
Looks legit to me...what they are doing is putting a link (advertisement of one of their clients that provides products or services similar to your site's niche/topic/subject) onto your site and paying you $30 / month just to have that link there. If they don't pay you, you can easily take the link off. They're contacting you because the site gets a good amount of traffic. Doesn't hurt to check it out - so contact them back before they move on to the next one. Good Luck!
It sounds fine, best way is to get a phone number and give them a call. If they are happy to share phone number its probably legit.
Looks quite legit. Try to deal with them for one time and then you'll understand if they are scammers. But don't invest anything in this activity, because if these are scammers, you'll loose your money.
search there website on google and put scam word i will know there all history from mine point of view i also got this types of mail and i have made advertising for them mine are legit dont know about this company ...
Ask for some clarification, like the company website or her (the name appears a female for me) contact information. Then look for more information about the company, and about the sender. Just put "her-email@xxx.com" (with quotes) on google and see what you got. This worked for me when someone sent me an e-mail to buy my worthless domain name for $250. I found the person was honest and I had no problem with him. Anyway, trying the opporunity won't be harmful to you. Simply put the ads/link on as requested and see if they're paying. If they're not, you can simply remove the link as you please.
What for? It says in the letter payment will be given 24 hours after link verification. If payment not sent within 2 days then you can always take out the link. Asking for payment right away is like telling them to look somewhere else. Did the OP replied to the email?
I think it's legit. The client was trying to place an advertisement in your site. The company where I worked before used to send emails to prospect websites for paid ads.
Well i emailed her back and she said she will contact me within 2 days for confirmation, i suppose worse that could happen is she has her link up for a day for free, not the end of the world i guess.
I think its real and not scam. You can use it but its better to ask more before using it as it seems no one here experienced it yet.
