Anyone promoting Mypadmedia - a product without any customer support?

One of the user has purchased this product through my affiliate link in the landing page. After that, the user email me and mentioned that he can't login due to password problem. I told him to contact the support - with his receipt no.

However, no one replies him according to what he told me. I also email mypadmedia's support email 2 times, but no one replies too. Now, the customer felt frustrated as he has been waiting for about 10 days and now he asked me how to get refund.

If the vendor could have time to come here to spam the forum with his product, why the HELL he don't bother about the customer support?

    Anyone having the same problem?

I can tell you exactly why - because he has risen from 0-100 gravity within a month. I reckon hes probably making 1000s of sales and couldn't really care less about a problem here or there, and is happy to let people process their own refunds, or just not bother to... bit of a shame but I reckon that is what is happening... not everyone will be like that with a busy site, but the fact that he comes on here every couple of days, spams his site, doesn't follow up on anyones commens and gets BANNED should be a bit of a warning sign if you are concerned with a vendor's customer service.. but many would argue that if the conversion rate is good anyway then this shouldn't matter to you..

    @lqbk

    How about conversions?

If it were profitable I suppose you wouldn't have stopped promoting it.

Conversion is ok actually. At least profitable. Refund rate is about 10%. In fact i wanna further promote his product by increasing my PPC budget. But now i am frustrated, just like the customer who can't get any customer support.I guess the refund rate will increase in future for sure since the noob and shitty vendor will not provide any customer support. If that's the case, a profitable campaign will become a deficit campaign. So i think no point continue to promote his product.

He must be getting a lot of hate emails everyday so he doesn't bother replying to any of them. One thing i'm not sure of is how he managed to get it approved when CB already shut down all the p2p and similar products way back.

The vendor has his own unusual ways. Think of everything he did, from the product idea, getting it approved to getting affiliates and customer support.

I promoted it as well, but I stopped since refunds rate suddenly jumped. After my first 20 sales there were no refunds, but after the 30th I got 10 refunds. I found contacting them quite difficult as well, but at the end they answered my email.

@lqpk - Save your money for something else :D

I'm not sure if anyone here has realized this yet, but MyPadMedia is actually selling access to FeedBooks.com, which is a site that offers free eBook downloads. It's the same thing with a very similar site called PadBro. They even mention something about it in their disclaimer, which if anyone would care to read, they wouldn't be buying from this site in the first place.

FeedBooks.com has a little warning that shows up for any visitors that come to the site from MyPadMedia.com, so every MyPadMedia customer will know what exactly is going on.

This issue was only debunked by GearDiary just recently, and they posted screenshots of the "members area" of MyPadMedia which was pretty much a frame of the FeedBooks.com site with the top frame containing something along the lines of "MyPadMedia Members Area" (can't remember).

Anyways, if your sales haven't turned into refunds yet, maybe the owner of this site is purposely ignoring the refund requests/emails and just leaving the customers to find out on their own how to get a refund from Clickbank.

Just a friendly warning.. if you have a few MyPadMedia sales, don't get your hopes up too high. They will most likely end up being refunded eventually. For those using PPC, you might want to consider stopping your campaigns too.

This is interesting, he's actually selling a membership to a free site?

I wonder how this vendor managed to get away with this and should be reported to Clickbank, the refund sales will be pretty high too.

    Or is it legal?

He's charging people $50 and then they basically have an iFrame to that freebook site. I guess most are too computer dumb to know what is going on.
