I suggest you to get Zeuscart, which is more simple to customize and for other utilities. Also it is free open source.

If you have a wordpress blog and want to convert it into an online shop, you may want to try out ZenCart since it's manageable with wordpress. If you want to make your website look like Ebay, use OSCart. You just have to fill out the settings correctly to make it more manageable.

    Good luck on your venture!

I think ZenCart can be a bit complicated as can x-cart, the Joomla and wordpress plugins are pretty staightforwards and some of the drag and drop options from godaddy etc are as well/.

It depends on your needs...if you want a CMS with a cart...Virtuemart is a great option. If you do not want too many controls or features then osCommerce is fine because it is very basic. However, Zen Cart, Magento, Open Cart, CRE, osCMAX, Presta Shop others offer free carts which have lots of features but are still somewhat easy to control and customize. I like CRE but there are more free templates and design options with some of the other carts.

Zeuscart team is well-committed to redefine the open source community; Presta and Magneto also serviceable
