Practically every search result includes a Cached link. Clicking on that link takes you to the Google cached version of that web page, instead of the current version of the page.

If you type www.domainname.com and Google returns your home page then it is in its index.

Occasionally Google sandboxes the home page - so they appear way way back - but not back pages.

Sometimes it may happen because I think your sites inner pages having more info and content rich. or it may be also you created more backlinks for inner pages. Also check site code.

Just updated your home page in face book. Face book will help to index your home page.

Indexing is very different from caching.
Even if indexing is possible in a few hours, caching could even take weeks.

I think doing only social bookmarking does not make that impact. If your really want to index your webpages (including the home page) quickly on Google. Then you should first submit your website in some directories and do some article submission.
These sources update themselves regularly with new content and help your pages get index faster.

Do some changes in your pages and bookmark it to more bookmarking websites and post 10 comments on blogs.

I agree with you. I have met the same problem as you said. After some time google cached my sites. You need to wait for some times.
