I have found that Yahoo Answers send decent traffic. Works quite well IMO.

i was just wondering about this the other day when i was on there.
they dont allow direct links in your answer, but only "your source", which i think is no follow.

HOWEVER, this might change if its picked as the best answer. its brought to the top and then i THINK its do.

I've done it once and everytime I inclused a relevant link to my website they gave me a warning.

Also, while we are talking about links.
Does this forum have a NoFollow thing?
Just wondering since it would not increase the seo of any website linked to here in signatures etc.

I tried this but didn't really find any benefit to doing it. It's quite time consuming and you need to make sure you stay within their (quite strict) guidelines

its a waste of time. and askers are clever as they can easily identify link spammers.

Still works if you have a good quality site or blog, if now , if you are selling how to get rich then not.

    A little tip:
Yahoo tend to feature some of the questions in their SERPs. So, find out for what keywords they show YA, base your title on those and build links to those Q/A.

I don't actually spending any time searching on Yahoo! answers. But, I do get Google alerts, and if I get an alert with a question geared towards my niche, I always go and reply immediately. Not sure if it works wonders, but it definitely helps to get your brand out there.
