What exactly happened was that internet pranksters found out that you could implement HTML in the comment field. So they did so and started to mess with YouTube. Pop-ups, porn, foul language... you name it!

A friend of mine which is maintaining a channel on youtube got the javascript exploit and now she can't delete the comments, and the exploiter now posts stupid things (even spamming with websites)
yeah, I also got the news. It redirects you to a porn site if you click some videos on YouTube. I think they will solve this problem quickly.
