Hey everyone, does anyone have tips saving bandwidth in glype? Also does anyone knows how to build auto submitter like the ones in webevader.org? The submitter itself is good, but most of the proxy toplist submitted don't give much traffic.
To save bandwidth, ban low converting countries using maxmind GeoIP. In Glype you can enable chaching, comression, and limit download file size, all of which will be helpful for saving bandwidth.
I totally agree! Wdservers is a one man show and he doesnt allow his clients to submit a ticket straight to fdcservers to reboot server. I used to have servers with wdservers and as you said, it takes more than 8 hours to get my servers rebooted when all it needs is just for him to submit a ticket to fdcservers to reboot and it will be completed in 15 mins. If only his service is good, it would be solid..else stay away if you cant afford the downtimes. Aside from this, how well is Smowtion doing for you Vahing? What kind of eCPM rates are u getting with them? I signed up Smowtion a year ago but havent used them yet. Thanks!
I had excellent results with Smowtion until the first quarter of this year, when all of a sudden Smowtion decided to stop serving ads to my top proxies. Smowtion didn't let me know, but I found out quickly. They claimed that it was not enough content, and they didn't respond to subsequent emails or tickets, which were usually just closed without taking action or response. The strange thing is that they mostly deactivated my top earning proxies (with good, organic traffic), whereas they kept serving ads to my the set and forget proxies which had even less content. When I beefed up my top proxies with much more content and reapplied, they didn't get back to me and neither approved them. Before the Smowtion account manager decided not to respond any longer at all she even put a sarcastic remark in a ticket and just closed it, without responding to what I had been asking for. I, and some fellow proxy owners, have been extremely disappointed by Smowtion, and I would advise anyone to not apply or to rely on them.
Ok I agree. Of course there will be a decline in proxy traffic. But that shouldn't be a reason for proxy starters to wait creating a proxy.. They can already start SEO, Backlinking and designing their templates. Before you know it's september again
Well that's me done till next September, was earning peanuts. Looking forward to starting up in September though!
Do you have a modified glype script? I would like to one with heatmaps, adsense and analytics in it! And why do you choose glype over other scripts? What are the advantages? I might add a glype script to "The Proxy Project" (my lastest ebook).
Hey guys, have any of you tried to place cpalead code into the proxified pages of glype or phproxy before? Would greatly appreciate some advise on how to insert their codes in. Thanks!
I want exchange proxy IPs. I have a daily checked, updated and increased list of anon and trans proxy in the format IPort. I can provide that list as txt file with can be read by the partner with wget or such. If you want exchange your list with my, email me. I am only interested in constantly updated lists. They must be fetchable automatic by wget or related tool. No forum, java interface or something, i am only interested in the raw lists, which i can fetch automated. Of course should that raw lists not be traded or direct used, prof. use only. Give me a PM when you have a proxy farm or list site.
In the <themes> folder of glype you can edit framedForm.inc.php and add the CPALead code right below <!--[glyperoxified_below_form]-->
To add adsense and analytics you don't need a modified script of glype. Adsense is usually added/integrated in the <themes> config.php file, as simple as that. Google Analytics and similar stats can be added to <themes>\main.php
i have seen few people already using cpalead on proxified page, are you getting any success with cpalead in proxified page?
I didn't say anything like that. The summer season is the best season of the year for testing new ad placements , new templates, seo and so on
