I think this question is serious for web design~~~

    so, here is the question:

    Which browser do you use,
and which one is most popular in US????

P.S. I'm now working on a foreign trade site, it's about Printing in China~~~(Yes, I'm from China:))

Firefox Obviously. But IE is too Used everywhere. SAfari and Opera and Chrome almost behaves same like Firefox, but Chrome shows some width errors which can be fixed by one line CSS codes.

The most used in the US is Internet Explorer, unfortunately, by about half the internet population. The most popular is not the same as the most used.

I've switched to Chrome. It's much faster than Firefox. IE is not even in my equation

Put simply: All that are popular.
I use opera, safari, chrome, firefox and IE. Reason being that I need all of them to test cross browser results.

I use Firefox most of my time and I'm on a Macintosh. I would say that that's the most popular browser in the U.S. But make sure you test in all browser. Even the most unknown browsers still have millions of people using them.

I personally use to "FireFox- Mozilla" - However while coding website I normally check on FF, IE8, IE 7, IE 6 [ Yes, IE6; if client really bother and pays ;-) ] and do cross-browser test on FF, IE 8, IE7, IE6, Safari, Opera and Chrome.

A recent survey on browser uses can be found here http://www.e-janco.com/browser.htm

i used to swear by firefox but it eats up a lot of memory on both of my computers... at one point it went over 1,000,000K on my laptop and is always 300,000k+ on my pc... so i switched over to chrome and have been using it since... i googled the firefox memory problem and tried many supposed fixes, some of which worked but only temporarily... if it wasn't for the memory problem firefox would be my first choice

I only use Safari for my browsing general Internet activity, but I use Firefox when I am doing work because of some of the plugins and add-ons you can get with it.

So if I am working on a project, firefox, but generally it's Safari. I know a lot of people are using Internet Explorer, and I have no idea why, it's quite easily the worst browser I have ever used.

There is no problem with Firefox memory but add-ons and the default set up cause problems like yours to occur. You can set the amount of cache FF uses and you can, as a test, not install any add-ons and you'll see a significant difference. In fact, FF uses less memory than a similarly "tabbed up" Chrome does. FF4, due out this year, will use even less.

Mostly, I use Google Chrome. I sometimes use Mozilla firefox, and seldom use IE.
However, IE still has the biggest market share, next is Firefox, the third is Chrome, the fourth is Opera.
