What Conversion Rates Should I Expect For This?

Hi, what conversion rate should I expect for a (membership) website that has good content, and costs $27 per month, how much should I expect for a website that charges $17 per month, and $10 per month? I am not a great copywriter, but I am okay, I have read 1 book on it.

    Thank you.

It all depends on the kind of content you have and what value you will be providing to the customer. Also at what level of targeting you are doing in terms of reaching out to the right customer.

I will be giving a lot of content, and I will be updating it pretty much everyday. I've done research on the target market.
It doesn't have to be exact, just so I have an idea. What can it range between?

    Thank you.

I would say only about 5 to 10 per cent unless you are an authority figure. If you improve your landing page and have people provide you with reviews, then you will be able to improve that.

Thank you, that`s great, but is that for the $27 per month, $17 per month, or $10 per month? Which one would get about 5 to 10%?
    Thank you.

Obviously price is an issue. You need to really open the door to a few reviewers and ask them how they would value your content and what you are about to do. That way you don't undersell or oversell. You want to find a happy medium where potential leads don't think too long before they buy and you don't want to make it too low because people see a lot of cheap stuff everyday that commits the moon but delivers nothing...

Find that happy medium. You can only do that with a help of a few reviewers.

When you have it ready, I will be happy to be one of your reviewers if you like.

Thank you, I appreciate that, but I still don`t have it ready, when I do, maybe I`ll pm you, but for now, I need to make my plans, and see if it is even worth it to create it, so I need to have a rough idea of conversion rate for each price per month. You said 5 to 10%, and what price would that be for? What would you say about the other prices?
    Thank you.

    100% would be nice.

Realistically, I'd say more like 3-4%. The more expensive, the less likely people will be to sign up, especially if the content is not well written. Do you give them a teaser, like the first couple paragraphs, to draw them in?

$27 per month is kind of pricey. That's $324 per year!! Yikes. That's a lot of lattes that someone would have to give up at Starbucks. Lower the cost, is my advice.

All of the content is going to be in video. Even the copy to get people interested will be in video. In the beginning of the video, I might say the name of a few famous people in my niche, and that they might contribute in it. My website is about card magic, so I will teach a lot of sleights, some easy, intermediate, and advanced, and for all of them, there will be applications of when to use them, and etc, this is something different from a lot of other people, they just teach the move, but no application is given, sometimes people work on a sleight (like center dealing, or the classic pass) for years, and don't have so many applications (off course the pass is too versatile not to have any applications, but these are just examples :p) there will also be a lot more, but this is the basic idea.

Lol. From what I told you (and keep in mind that there will be more things, like interviews, and etc), what would you say would be good? $17 per month? Would that still be too much, or little? Or would it be good?

    Thank you.
