Small Photoshop Problem

I have .psd file for a logo (text only) sized 288x 88 pixels, which I would also like to use for a 468x60 banner.
How can I edit the logo file for the banner size of 468x80 pixels?

I am using Photoshop version 11.

you can resize it using photoshop. by going to IMAGE >> IMAGE SIZE

 

Paste it into the banner file and use the transform tool.

Thanks, I have tried this, but the text gets d i s t o r t e d. I would like to leave the text intact.

Any idea of how that could be established?

Well, you can resize it using photoshop.

 

Yup! you can resize your image by Ctrl+T

 

@chanda - first select the object/image you want to resize on the Layer Panel, then press CTRL + T, you'll see a bounding box around object/image, click and drag one of the corner of the bounding box while pressing the SHIFT Key to preserve the aspect ration.

 

I always encounter the same problem. Did anyone have any good solution?

 

There is a option in the IMAGE name as image size
