Very strong words by Netherland's politician Geert Wilders warning USA about Islam

    Hello All !

I saw these videos and I have to say they are the strongest and most direct I ever heard from a European politician and a leader.

    Quoting few lines..

I know a lot of Muslims here will not like what he says but everything he said is accurate as far as I know, especially when reciting Quotes from the Quran.

What do you think? Would it be a wise decision to stop Muslims from immigrating to Europe?

I understand your disagreement but could you tell me what exactly he said that was false? He lives in a country where he can say anything freely.

    Paranoia.

Its only a matter of time before Muslims catch up with other religions. Many Arabic countries have already shunned barbaric laws.

Helvetti, what has happened in the past two weeks to change your opinion on Islam? I'm not having a dig at you, I'm just more curious than anything else.

As to the OP, Geert Wilders is a very smart man; others will undoubtedly disagree, but frankly I think he's brilliant - having a conversation with the man is like this insanely deep experience; by the end you feel like you've got this new-found understanding of the world.

I'm biased of course, but I think the US would do well to listen - Europe is indeed on the verge of collapsing.

lol!!! I burst out laughing at the following statement:

lol!!! is Islam a country ?? Its a religion and every individual has a right to choose his religion unless he lives under a dictator's rule.
This guy needs to think twice before he makes these sortta humorous statements. Islam is rising in Europe that's true, how can u control that ? You base out a law, banning all muslim entries into the Europe, then may be you could eradicate the problem. But is that called freedom ? Nah!!! So rise of Jews can be considered ok ? r rise of christianity ? r hinduism ? r buddhism ?

Mass Immigration is an issue which has to be dealt with severe care, as we have to remember these European nations depend on the gulf for the oil and any senseless moves would make them motionless.

You could very well control the immigrants rights, its some thing you have under your govt. control. A wise govt. need no advises or suggestions to implement them.

I feel more racists growing by day with even the politicians indulging in this ugly game.

Can people not learn to live and let live,,, I’m from Ireland a country where Catholics and Protestant bombed one another to pieces. After nearly 40 years of bloodshed and 800 years resentment and pure hate, we seem to have moved on and life is so much better now.. Maybe the rest of the world can learn from our hardship..

Banning Muslims from Europe or from any other continent for that matter would be disastrous. Islam plays a huge role, lots of oil is controlled by Islamic countries. Oh God I can't even start to think what would happen, the whole world would slowly fall apart bit by bit. World War 3? I think so. So much industry would fall apart. Everything that has been built up over so many years would disappear so fast! The best solution is to learn to live with Musilms.

However, I found this quote to be absolutely hilarious:

This dude is a douche bag.

GeekHang - you found the Europe comments funny, so tell me, do you believe Islam is expansionist?

I'd encourage you, being fairly new here, to go and read the posts from the two (now banned) newest Muslims here, thegr4 and cyb3rking - their views on how they believe they will soon run the UK are interesting and well worth the read - at least if you need convincing that there are Muslims out there who plan to just keep on breeding until they outnumber everyone else.

Oh man thanks for informing me. I didn't know that oh well. I don't know much about Shariah law since I'm only 16, I've got a lot to learn but all I know is that muslims do use it, and abide by it. What's this protesting about then? Do they want people of other faiths to follow Shariah law too? Kinda absurd to be honest, but like I said, I've got a lot to learn.

Make sure you learn from the right place. This is not the right place, people at DP whether Muslims or Atheist are very opinionated.

Nice, somehow I have a feeling that its been photoshopped. I can see a design and slogan pattern in all the posters in these kind of images from all over the world. Can you share a similar Image from a credible source? you know AFP, reuters, etc?

Don't generalize all politicians to be like him. US and European politicians are doing a good job by not discriminating people on the basis or religion, color etc in their official policy. Those are smart people and thats why they are there.

I have just had a front row view of a Muslim family who is only interested in going on with life and doesn't give a shit about Jews, detests sharia and values freedom. I'm sure that there are plenty like them. While I still loath people like Vebtools, MENJ, awin, newbie who want sharia to rule the world and think Hitler was doing a social service I won't let their opinions corrupt my mind against all Muslims. Obviously people in this section are going to be extremely opinionated people eager to push their beliefs on others - they are no way representative of anyone.

I might have made a few generalized comments before but I never meant to, I guess it was the effect of having people like thgr4 and cyb3rking around. Now that this place is much cleaner its easier to think logically and not be blinded by hatred. Our continued generalization and hatred would eventually turn even the moderate Muslims into extremist. Look at the nutjob in the video. If you make the Muslims in US feel unwelcome, call them scum, - you would expect love and tolerance from them? No. You will only get well deserved hatred back. If I go on a rant about Australians you would pretty soon start detesting me (in case that didn't happen already).

Last 2 days I have had some nice PM's from Muslims who hardly post here thanking me for my posts (when there are hardly 2-3 of them) none of them tried make me grow a beard and wear a cap.

@Helvetti - No, I haven't started to detest you. :p I do understand where you're coming from, it just isn't how I feel about things. We both know that not all Muslims are bad and we both know that there are plenty of them who object passionately to things we know are wrong, such as child and spousal abuse, sharia law, etc.
The difference of opinion we have is based on our own experiences; I can't speak for you but for me, I've met a good number of Muslims and spent large amounts time in Muslim areas - both locally and otherwise - and what I've seen and experienced has helped me form my opinions; likewise yours are based on your own experiences. Maybe the majority of Muslims in areas where I've been, and a good number in my own country, are far worse than the Muslims you've met and come to know.
I will state for the record that I do have a few friends who call themselves Muslims but do not practice any of the things in the Qu'ran that are despicable.

Let me guess, they were poor and uneducated working blue collar jobs? If yes, then poor and uneducated are mostly the same all over the world. :)
