Backlinks webmaster tools

    Hello,

    I had a lot of backlinks in webmaster tools and last week all of them dissepeared...What could be the reason please?

    I have the opposit, I had maybe max 200 backlinks in google webmaster tools (GWT). Yesterday I noticed it shows more then 5000 in GWT.

    I am not sure. But it seems that the backlinks in Google Webmaster Tool had a big update last week.

    Yeah , same thing have happened to me.
    just until few days back i have had more than 1000 backlinks and now google webmasters tools is just showing only about 200!

    May be google have updated their system to exclude certain types of links as backlinks.

    I have also noticed a huge increased on my inbound links displaying via Google Webmaster Tools. However, it is an evidence that Google had changed the way they handling and counting links toward each website "again". It may be a results from "Caffeine" updated as well.

    I have a other problem: Googlebot activity is decreased very much .... What could be the reason please?

    For me it changed from 900 to 44K backlinks in Google Webmasters Tools without doing something last weeks. So yes, maybe its a small change or update.
