$30 for Winning Logo Design
$10 for second place
We need a logo designed for a new a website that will be called Tell the Planet. The company uses crowdfunding to publicize social change messages. Think of it as people creating and funding advertising for the common good.

Logo Design Contest Details:
1. The logo can have the name included with it or not
2. The logo should be an iconic logo that is not too tall.
3. colors are wide open
4. The logo should look good on a white background.
5. The logo should be professional, slick, unique, and web-2.0 looking - not too edgy, cartoonish, or difficult to read.
6. Please post all logos publicly on this thread.

I plan to stay on top of the contest and provide timely feedback.

The contest will be live for five (5) days (ends July 14). At that time I expect to select a winner and send payment via Paypal.

Please do not wait until the last minute. I will not accept late entries. You are also welcome to submit multiple entries.

If I spot a logo design that I really like I might end the contest early. So please don't wait to submit your entries.

The winning design will earn $30 and second place will receive $10, paid via pay pal.

Opticalpigeon - not so into this design - especially the guy.

Treyb - like the bold colors and font. placement of the .com is cool. megaphone alone might be too clip-artish.

scorpion - at first I thought the logo was too busy, but it is growing on me and I like it quite a bit now. could I see it in some different colors? I like that Planet is emphasized in the name. It combines a lot of cool symbolism. I am a little unsure about the roots - maybe they could be tinkered with a bit to make them more clear? What about cutting out the roots and making the leaf into a tree? Does that make sense?

lacea - like the colors and the font, think I'd like a picture too

Great to see more logos. I'm not really looking for anything with as much of an informal/cartoon feel as the three new submissions.

Scorpion, thank you for the edits. I like the red and black, green and blue, and green and grey. I like the tree. can i see a version without the roots? I'd also be interested in seeing some different fonts - maybe something a little more rounder/softer.

Thank you for the new submissions. It has become clear that I don't want an image of a person in the logo.

Scorpion, I like the revised concept. You have at least $10 minimum locked up and are currently the front runner - probably not a surprise. I like the logo. I'd be interested in seeing some more variations in the text font.

Everyone else considering submitting - Scorpion's logo is strong but it could be beaten so please submit your concept in the next day or two.
