Do you think short URL service will reduce SEO of a site?

As far as link cloaking goes, does anyone routinely use bit.ly or a similar service to link in a site or a blog? Do U think using something like this with your anchor text links will affect SEO of a site/blog?

 

In my own experiences, using url shortening services would not hurt and would not help our SEO efforts. But, it would help us for traffic purpose.

Google has said it it passes link juice through the shortener. So no it actually won't.

Short answer: No.

 

As per my knowledge this will surely not affect your seo process or results.
