Is Yahoo slower than Google for indexing?

It seems to me like Google always indexes pages faster than Yahoo, why is that??

 

It wouldn't really know for sure but it is safe to say that currently, Google has the upper hand with their new and fast indexing system called Caffeine.

Well maybe because G server are faster then Yahoo .

 

Google indexes faster because of the caffeine software it launched to keep up with the evolution of the web

 

Yahoo does index slower for most websites that are in a new phase stage. However, if the websites have enough link building then they would have been indexed a similar to what Google does anyway.

 

Google wins hands down across all search engines. Google indexes pages quicker and picks up backlinks quicker. To test this theory, bookmark something on Digg and stand and be amazed and how quick it appears in Google.

 

Google indexes my site much faster than Yahoo, but my rankings are better in Yahoo.

 

Well, I don't think so. Most of my new pages gets indexed very quickly. Sometime before google.

 

For my own experience Google did index faster when my site was new. Then a lot of pages got deindexed and not indexed new to this day. Google loves fresh contenet which is not so easily to achieve with product pages of an online shop since the inventory usually doesn't chnage any couple months.
Anyway, now it seems to me Yahoo is indexing faster and more than Google and this even with Caffein being released. But this also could be because we rank much better on Yahoo serp's than in Google serps.

What concerns which SE find backlinks faster so I can't tell any big difference. I only can tell that Yahoo shows more backlinks than Google does. Although Google made a few changes when it comes about them showing backlinks in webmaster tools. For Yahoo every link is a link. Google goes by the value and the quality of backlinks but now they at least show nofollow backlinks in webmaster tools too.

my site is index quicker by yahoo than google . and i got higher raking quickly on yahoo still not able to get index by the google

 

Due to high traffic and most popular search engine google have to be much faster then any other search engine.

 

Google is way faster! In fact, I have experienced many times new content pages in my site getting indexed within 15 seconds of me uploading it and reporting it using my sitemap to Google Webmaster tools!

 

i also have had better luck with google and webmaster tools speed wise

 

Just because Google is caring our site/blogs than yahoo does.

I think Google is very much faster as they use python as scripting language which IMO is light than others

I think yes. Google is on ultra high class level compared to Yahoo. thats a fact.
So but, if you use quality backlinks i think yahoo picks up fast too.

 

googgle introduce new indexing system this year google caffeine. it indexing and deindxing site rapidly while yahoo take some time to index your site

 

i have real estate website

and for yahoo i have a better rank and it always cash my website before google and at google i have more pages index than yahoo but i still like yahoo more.

 

yup yahoo takes lots of time to index your site if you want to indexed quickly then add your site to yahoo webmaster tools
