Greetings, I am student from Czech Republic and PHP, .NET developer. I am already about 2 years interested in starting up new webhosting company. I am looking for some investors, server administrators, marketing managers etc. interested in planning and realizing this with me. We can discuss and creafuly plan every step of our startup together. We can startup with shared webhosting, reseller plans or VPS services or be just reselling dedicated servers (based on eg. ovh.co.uk). Please PM me with your knowledge, experience, if you can invest money and other useful information that come on your mind. I am also available to join existing web hosting company (please just serious offers, not 15yo kids with "company" based on reseller hosting plan from other company, i want to do this very seriously) Best regards, Zdenek Topic
Yes it is better to make a new business and most of all it should not conflict with existing offers of your partner.
Hello, I don't understand. Your company hasn't started yet but you're looking for server administrators and marketing managers? In my opinion you're biting off more than is needed. Start by purchasing a dedicated server from a reputable company and start selling shared plans on that by yourself. As you grow you can think about hiring staff. I would also like to add that the majority of companies resell to some extent. If you don't own the data center itself then you are technically reselling. Regards, Jack
Can you read post title again? Iam looking for PARTNERS. Not staff to hire. And one-man-show is really bad bussiness.
We have just made up team of 3 members. Programmer, marketing manager and server administrator. We need some investor(s) who can invest some money so we can hire quality servers and pay licences for software. And invest some money to advertising.
I own and run a Graphic Design Agency with offices in the US, UK and Australia and have recently launched hosting services, both Shared, Reseller, VPS and Dedicated. I do have another hosting business with over 3,000 clients, however both businesses will be running separately. Unfortunately as this business isn't a start-up, but an established one, I could not take on any business partners who would not be looking to make some kind of commitment, whether financially or through skills. I am unable to look into a new business venture with someone as my current business takes enough of my time.
your in the wrong section. there is a partnership area over here : partnerships its all based on what your looking for. good luck!
Where do you want this company to be headquartered? Where would you like the servers to be located or is that all up for discussion?
