I got a doubt regarding paypal dispute if for suppose one issues a chargeback/dipsute against an transaction and the user has no funds in the account (against whom the dispute has been raised), where he hasn't attached any working CC r Debit, there is a chance for this user to have transferred from one of his paypal account to other, so is there a way we could get funds or is it just we are going to lose the amount ? I haven't been on such a situation before, so I would like to know to be on the safer side - what would happen ? will the user who asked for refund get his amount or not ?
PayPal will not charge credit cards attached with customers account automatically. They will not return money until user adds funds to his account.
If chargeback is decided in the favor of the buyer, then Paypal would credit him the transaction money by debiting the seller's account... even if it goes into negative! Regards, RightMan
I doubt if paypal would really give a negative balance, as the user could stop using his paypal account and start using a new one I second that, I have real concerns, especially about the ones who transfer funds to their other account and scam the users on the current account
I am not sure about this mate, as in US it needs SSN, in India, Tax id is reqd. but about other nations its not yet clear (at least for me). And I highly doubt if a false remark would be made for the member under his SSN records if he scams other cash
So if paypal goes in favor of the buyer they will get credited back? No matter what? Also, would the seller not saying during the dispute, give the buyer a better chance to get his favor?
That decided by your proof of shippment bill or service provide invoice. If the proof is for buyer, he can get refund easily. If proof is better for you. That is OK. But paypal will easily to guarentee the buyer.
