hey I just made new blog on blogger and completed following activities in sequence:
    1) blog design
    2) writing appropriate content
    3) submission to search engines and digg
    4) on page optimization i.e. meta tags, title and google analytics , bing and yahoo
    webmasters verification.
5)Ive started off page optimization activities like directories submission, and social
    bookmarking.

    where I went wrong?????
everything is fine but site is not coming up even in top 100 SERPs.

Though my social bookmarking and digg submissions stand on top but still search engines are not crawling it, they are nt showing results.
    Im getting restless.
Pls tell where I went wrong?

Or Im hoping and getting bit ambitious too early???
It has been 1 week when Ive registered a blog and did all activities.

You've have done nothing wrong so far aside from being patient. SEO is not rocket science, it doesn't work overnight or at least 1 week in your case. Just keep on doing what you've started, maintain your blog frequently and always make unique content. Don't copy and avoid black hat SEO methods. Google will then eventually pick up all the things that you've been doing.

Don't worry I have the same robots.txt as you do and I really don't give attention to that. Nothing has been affected with all SEO methods that I've applied so you don't worry about it that much. Your blog is not blocked by your own robots and SE will still be able to crawl through your website. It would only block URLs such as; blogname.blogspot.com/search?q=hello or any other URLs with /search as those URLs auto generate content and will cause you duplicate issues.

You said that your website has been live for 1 week.

It can take months for your website to start getting ranked where you want it.
