I really wonder how people make use of such numbers efficiently for a domain name and why they pay such a good price? I am yet to come across a very good site which has such numbers only... and is damn famous! Regards, RightMan
Oh yes... everybody would love to do the same just like you, but unfortunately... all such 3 digits names are long booked. Remember... early bird catches the worm! Regards, RightMan
I will almost promise you that the buyer is either from China or Hong Kong. I'm not sure why but they love numbers, don't ask me why... because they are easy to remember. For instance 163.com is one of the most famous websites in china so maybe that's one reason.
Maybe it means a million dollars to them. And 363 is a good number with great recall. So good for business. AdamFL, that's interesting.
Thanks for the info... The buyers would surely be making the sites on such names in their regional language, which possibly explains why we do not get to see sites with such numbers... everyday! Perhaps a member from these countries could explain well... if these numbers hold anything special to them... apart from easy recalling value. Regards, RightMan
The only way I can see someone paying this kind of money is if the domain was the name of an existing business or part of a new business plan. There are virtually no advertisers for "363" in Google, so the term does not mean much to most people.
