Anybody had any success with 3D name sales? List those names here (preferably along with the price they fetched).

i had a recent $100 sale on Sedo...
... still waiting for the i's to be dotted and the t's to be crossed.
i will list when final (this one's taking forever!!)
    it was an 'HD3D' name
    :)

    GDA - $6:
    • 3dEducation.net

i'll take a punt at those numbers

    - - - -

Hello to any NP members that need their 3d Fix (haha)
    ..you know who you are

    - - - - -

Let me start this next piece by saying, i am NOT a Google fan by ANY stretch

.. but Google Alerts is one of the best things to happen to 'personal computing' in a long time. (ok, so i'm being dramatic :))
Put your own website in your alerts and see who writes about you... or research the domains you bought or are thinking to buy
.. i have setup my alerts to notify me 'as it happens'
.. i have been doing this for about a month now with around 175 domain name titles i own.
The amount of possible end-user leads is incredible!!
... i have been saving each alert for the month...
a few names i was considering keeping will probably be dropped now and some names i was considering dropping, have become keepers due to my findings.
The constant emails are a pain in the ass, but if you keep on top of them, it is a GREAT tool to use to monitor your topics, your potential and end-users.

if you haven't already set up your google alerts account - do so as soon as you can... you won't be sorry.

    - - - -
about the you tube video... (or anybody else's you tube video)
Do a search for your exact title on google - with quotes, of course...
    I searched:
    "3d Domain Names - 3d Online Marketing"
(as is the name of my you tube video )

i found about six sites so far embedding this video on their own site....
there are more listed on google, but clicking through will show you only six have it actually embedded and playing on their sites.
I point this out not to brag or complain... but to show the power in you tube and video marketing - IMAGINE it was actually GOOD!
    People LOVE the video!!
    - - -
Hope everybody had a happy fourth - the ones that celebrate it anyway.

Let's hear some chatter in here all !!!!

    haha

    Njoy!

AquaLux 3D, a new projection technology developed at Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute, can target light onto and between individual water droplets, enabling text, video and other moving or still images to be displayed on multiple layers of falling water.

Yeah, i saw this a day or two ago...
the best part for me was to see all the 'household' items in the video... very cool to think that there are people everywhere coming out with this stuff - it's AMAZING, really.

All of this excitement over 138 views?

IMO it is highly unlikely that a domain sale will be facilitated through YouTube ad videos of this nature.

Of course, the only reason you are talking the video up is to get potential buyers here to watch it. You got the NP thread closed because of your constant spamming. Why risk it here?

np thread was closed because the mods couldnt handle the fact that it was beginning to take over just like 3d is in the tech world.
posts were being deleted by mods even when they were totally relevent to the thread pretty safe in saying the mods are just like kids there spitting out their dummys.

dub have you ever made a video and tried to make it go viral or do you even know the power it has ?
if not then reserve your comments untill you know what the hell you are talking about !
if this post was made at np it would be removed so pathetic its unreal

every person here who reguarly contributes on this thread and has an interest in 3d is always interested in what the others are doing and we all support each other if you dont like it then stop visiting the thread we are not asking you to visit and read comments or look at any links

I think this is something too early to take advantage of. I have a few 3D names and have had some inquiries, but why would I sell now when the market is low? I plan on waiting a few years for more companies to get in on 3D who need domains and sell then. I'd recommend holding on to anything you have.
