Excited eh??? That will be great for you if youre site gets a PR5 You know what excites me I earn $xxx.xx per month from a PR0 site. Go figure.....
I'm really really chuffed for you. This site of ours makes a lot of money too as a PR0 site, when it gets indexed as a PR5 site I will be buying a small island in the Caribbean.
Well I am glad you are chuffed and not chaffed. I am not sure a jump in PR will bring you enough revenue increase to buy much more than a 1 square meter piece of property in the Caribbean. However when my site hits the front page of Google I will be buying a small Mediterranean Island and villa with indoor outdoors swimming pools and two chicks to take care of the pools....a lear jet and extra stretched hummer h3. Thanks for making me learn a new word today!!!! Peace
Here is my punt at the next google update - 12th October For some people the PR update does not reeally make a difference to there business or what they do online, for others it does - it contains a heavy weighting on making more money for them. I can't stand people that come on a blast away that "PR means Crap" and lecturing people that what ever you do on the web PR don't matter.
Same here. Our site is a PR6 and looking at our stats, at least 90% of our traffic comes through Google.
I can't stand when people who know nothing about building a business come online and try to say that Google PageRank effects other business revenues. That is an inane remark, this condones a poor business model. I would like anyone to reach outside the online world and let us know of a bricks & mortar business dependent on PageRank to earn revenues??? As soon as someone can, then and only then will I believe PR is a needed item to sustain business.... otherwise building a business that relies soley on a search engine to drive traffic is like building a house of cards..... Looks pretty for a while,,,then one little gust and everything falls flat...just like the house of cards..... Peace
Your next Google PR has been decided already. You recently made backlinks may or may not be indexed for the next update.
No he's right in a way. Toolbar PR is usually weeks or months out of date. If there was a PR update now it would be doubtfull if recently added links would be factored in due to the way Google indexes and caches pages. Even once they've been picked up by Google changes can take weeks to spread across all of their datacentres.
Hahaha, my it's 5am and my eyes hurt from coding www.three-way-links.com but you made me laugh =) reps Hexed
Hehe, and even though this thread is funny, you're right. I think the meaning was lost in the way he worded it though. You explain it alot better =) Anyhow PR isn't all it's cracked up to be anymore and hasn't been for a while. Allinanchor is alot better =)
