Is it possible to make $1 Million in one year?

Do you think it's possible to make online $1 Million in 12 months? I mean making money from Adsense, subscriptions, products or services being sold online?

I've been trying to make few Adsense dollars myself utilizing my blog but I don't see it working. I only make around $4 - $8 per month.

Then I came up with an idea to sell original painting for $1 Million. I've created an auction that will last one year and there is only one item for sale. Starting bid is $1.00 and in twelve months I hope to sell it for one Million. I thought it's worth to give it a try. Some of the art pieces are selling for much more compare to what I am asking.

Has anybody else tried to do something creative online? Any other success stories in making big dollars in a short period of time? Any suggestions on how should I market this thing?

The whole point is it has to happen in 1 year. And how about if at age 65 stock market takes another 40% plunge like it happened in early 2009?

 

1 Million in a year? People like Frank kern, John Resse has made way more than that in a single day.

 

Eh, if you are the painter and you die, your painting could increase in value. So you could possibly sell it for a mil, you just wouldn't be around to enjoy it!

The only way to increase the painting's value is to die. That's how you can get $1 million for it.

 

Actually, given your logic, his wife would have to die. Poor form.

And that is not the only way to make $1mil from this project.

@OYA: I would begin by contacting Lady Gaga's representatives. See if you can get her involved in some way. Even if she doesn't agree, you should be able to drum up some local media attention by using her name. You might contact a lawyer first to make sure that nothing you say or do could be considered defamation.

Thanks for the tip. Also for some clarification my wife is the artist. Inspiration for the painting came from my wifes passion for elephants and Lady Gaga’s song “Bad Romance”. In song’s video there is a moment where Lady Gaga’s eyes are round and very big. If you look at both – video and painting, you will see the same big, round, crazy eyes.
