Articles in Foreign Languages

I have seen many articles in foreign websites and blogs. They look a lot like they've been translated using some translation tool. Do you think it is worth translating articles and submitting them to foreign language blogs and websites in order to get a link?

Is it really helpful to provide a translator button/link to google translation on your site? I noticed that most of my traffic is in the USA but I still get a good amount of traffic from many foreign countries and I even see them doing google searches via foreign google domains.

 

No, is not worthy. If your site is in English, write articles in English. What you can do is scraping articles from other languages and translate them to your local language, in this way you will have more articles. Nevertheless, you must domain the foreign language since translators are not perfect and we have to make some grammatical corrections.

 

I didn't mean I wanted to write articles in foreign languages on my own website. More like, if I write an article and submit it to article directories in order to get traffic and links, should I also translate the article and submit it to foreign language directories?

 

One more question - what is a good place to submit foreign articles and press releases?
