Absolutely. It will most likely be discussed in all the technology changes, etc section. Do you want to add more to help others how you get around to be successful with these methods?

From what I've seen a lot of new marketers fail to stick to one thing. They try something, a month passes and they've made no money--or hardly any money--and they give up on it and move on to something else. And in a month, they do it all again.

I blame this on the people that sell courses promising overnight riches. I give newbies a false hope. In the end they end up with a form in IM ADD, jumping from one thing to another and never giving one course of action enough time to really see if it will work for them.

Pick one thing and stick to it. Obviously, some common sense is needed here. If you've stuck with something for a year and it's still not working for you, either you are doing something wrong, or it really doesn't work.

The hardest parts for me are:

    Challenge 1 – Traffic Generation

Challenge 2 – Converting Traffic into Sales (Well not sales, but having them sign up to my list).

Currently I use Blog Commenting and Forum Marketing. I admit that I Traffic Generation is a bit of a challenge to me.

I do not use search engines as I have a squeeze page and it is unlikely to be ranked by Google (as told by people to me).

I do not like writing articles. Actually, I struggle with writing articles, so article marketing is not a good option for me.

Regarding Video Marketing, I do not have the expertise to create on screen videos.

I overcome this by constantly searching for new traffic methods or reading more about them. I want to discover more methods that actually work and which I can actually implement! I want to discover methods which I can actually do.

The two methods that I do (blog comments and forum marketing) work for me, I like doing them.

I could also use some advice on more traffic methods for a squeeze page.

Secondly, Challenge 2 – Converting Traffic into Sales (Well not sales, but having them sign up to my free offer).

My opt in rate (not conversion rate) is currently 5%. I heard and read that this should be at least 20%. So I guess I am struggling in this section too. And I do not have a solution to this. Any advice regarding this will be appreciated too.

    Nabeel

P.S. Posting this in your blog comments section too.

I totally agree with you. People jump from one to another before achieving success on the first one. Plus there are ton of BS out there that overloads the brain.

I also had a hard time with challenge 1, 2 and 3. I think the rest sort of just come to you once you get those start up and set up down.

Well, regarding Challenge 3 – Information Overload. I have already beaten/overcome that since I started.

    How?

Because, I do not download every eBook, I do not think that I should know single darn thing. I first complete the thing I have at hand. And only then do I move ahead.

If I thought that I needed to know everything, then I would never get nowhere and never progress.

There is so much information out there that newcomers fall pray to what is called information overload i.e. 'I should know this', 'I should know that', 'I should read that eBook' ' I should download that' etc.

They are forever in a state of 'starting' and never actually 'doing'

First See through to completion what you have begun. You will never know Everything - and that's fine.

This business is a marathon - not a sprint.

Being an experienced copywriter, I find the content and the article marketing side very easy, but struggle with other elements. What I have done is find individuals with other skills sets and offer to do their content/articles/design if they do my bookmarking etc. The late Gary Halbert once said that we spend 90% of our time doing the things we are not good and only 10% of our time playing to our strengths. The art of success is to recognize and focus on your strength areas and outsource the elements you struggle with or as I have done, offer a skills exchange.

Thanks for all of your comments. I agree. Picking up one resource and implementing what is said in that resource is more efficient than to read 10 and do none...

I agree with you. You are not the first one to say this. I've heard this from others as well. People waste so much time learning new things rather than focusing and building on what they are already good with.

I am one of them who is doing this. I promoted over 10 sites rathan than 2 and now it is taking me longer to make money because my attention is for all of them instead of just two sites.

I recommend you look into consolidating or even selling a few so that you can focus more on a few that you believe will be successful.

Still looking for more feedback on the above topics.

I'm looking forwards to read the report in the near future. It sounds like a very helpful material which could help the webmasters to know the challenges they are facing better and identify their priority.
    Go ahead mate! Good work!!!

Yes. All tips were nice. But Traffic Generation is the main thing and most difficult one which takes a lot of time to reach too.

My biggest challenge is technical skills when it comes to marketing. I want my brands to be oriented with custom QR Codes but since I can't code I won't be able to make them hack proof / custom designs etc...
