In every office in 70% of the countries of the world, 50% of the staff are logged into FaceBook at any one time.

    Okay - I haven't checked my figures - but I know I'm broadly right.

You are not the only person in the world logging into Facebook from the same IP address. The bigger questions is why are your employees on their Facebook personal accounts during work hours?

Yeah, I was just kidding about the employee thing. I don't think you need to worry about anything....in many places thousands of people are on the same IP and I'm sure a good number of them use Facebook.

    thanks...
as i said our one account(website one) has just been banned to no reasons...
when we ask facebook there was no such answer just automated reply with 4 lines...(which is 100% out of question ....that we did any of those...)

    so just bit worried....
I am not worried about my company account but i am more worried about my personal one where there are lots of comments and so on (it cannot be recreated...)

not page because we are running some applications under that account(need to ..)

If you get banned it won't be because of the IP address thing, it will be becasue you personally are running multiple accounts. You don't get to have personal account AND a company account.
You create a personal account and all other pages, groups, and whatever are supposed to be under that account.

If they see that you are running accounts under different names, they will disable them...that's Facebook 101

i am not maintaining multiple account....
Company and every employee have thier facebook accounts....so do i...
i have personal facebook account with personal frens which has nothing to take with company with other frens...

so if facebook thinks all these account is being managed by single person (as ip is same) there is change it may be banned...
that is what i am worried about...

I'm just telling what the TOS says and the way it's been on Facebook for a long time You can justify it all you want but the rules state that your business page is supposed to be under your ppersonal account.

If you have multiple pages, they must be under a single account.
There is no limit to how many pages you can have, but there is a limit to how many accounts you can have.

So that means that you ARE maintaining multiple accounts. This is what will get you in trouble.
You don't have to believe me, but I have multiple pages and none of mine have ever been shut down because I follow the rules.

It's seen as dishonest and raises a red flag as a possible spammer or other undesirable behavior. I'm not here to argue the rules, or debate who you know that gets away with it...I'm just telling you how they operate. It's not about other people it's about it YOU get caught.

my problem is somewhat related with this. were a 6man seo team and some of us got banned, some couldn't put a post and were being moderated by dp and some got suspended. we think that it's because we have the same IP. what do you think? what should we do? thanks!

I couldn't tell you. I have no clue what the people at DP do, how they do it or what kind of reasoning is behind it. You would have to contact them

ok let me clear the situation,
There are multiple accounts but i am not maintaining it,so if facebook thinks i am maintaining multiple account as you did they will close it so that is what i am worried about.
    Situation:
I have personal facebook account (i am one employee among 6,all have facebook accounts)
Plus organization has its own facebook account (not page)...i cannot say close your facebook account.
All of us access the facebook account from same network using same ip
Now we are 7 different people accessing facebook from same ip...so as ip is same i fear facebook will think any one of us is maintaining multiple accounts and close the account.
Esp I have seen organization one post different kind of links....so if it gets banned and subsequently facebook bans our personal account also (as it thinks all are same...as it is on same ip) ....i will lose my personal account for nothing...so that is what i am worried about...

i cannot ask to close company facebook account...or ask fellow workers not to access facebook account from this network as i am accessing my account...or guarantee any thing about activities of company's account....
so as you say,if they misunderstand the thing ,i will be in trouble for nothing

I don't think it matters. Most households these days have multiple user accounts.

I'm telling you right now. If you have a company page separate from your personal page you are going to draw a red flag and probably get your accounts disabled.
I would get in front of it now and ask them to combine them before they do it and you end up playing catch up.

    Well in this tropic
the question is not wheather i am allowed have multiple accounts or not...
    question is
there is scenario which can create confusion and give impression that different accounts of 6 different employees is infact 6 accounts created by single company....as we all access the facebook from same ip and same network....
    can it be big problem?
    that is the question here...

    if yes what to do?
if account us disabled facebook doesnt allow second chance to explain things....(like we are 6 different employees of same company and so on....)
