How i can create web directory and Search engine website ?

Hi Every body....

i have my owned dedicate server with one web site is currently running ( http://www.newsoftworld.com/forums/ )

now i am going to create the one search engine and one web directory website.

1. how i can create the search engine and web directory websites ?
2. which search engine software with template is best for installation on search engine website ?
3. which directory web software with template is best for installation on directory web website ?

please any body help on that issue.

What kind of search engine? You can just use google's custom search, let people use it, and make monnies $$ on the process.

I don't think it's that hard to make a web directory - as long as you have basic knowledge of php and mysql. If you don't, you can try this.

 

You can use a CMS like Joomla to "ProtoType" your idea... It has built in TEXT search that lists the "articles" that match... and you could probably get fairly far with that....
Joomla is Open source, Runs on Apache WebServer, PHP, and MySQL.

 

yah and i little know about php and sql but i am going purchasing new domains foe these website which i want to going to creating. so please help me and any good CMS for search engine and web directory.

please give me some helpfull steps for these website creating as i own.

You can use custom search engine script, either you can get someone to code it or you can experiment coding in php yourself.
For directory scrpit, i suggest you to use the one mentioned above, PHPLD 2.x by Kerosene.

phpld is just fine ...the premium version is more powerfull. Cheers
