I like and i use facebook.I think both are a excellent traffic source.I think almost everyone has a Twitter account and facebook.
I prefer facebook because it's easier to use groups and communicate with the "friends"... but twitter is very good to populate google if you have a good keyword on your posts and twitter username/url you need to be on both
WE've marketed our products and services online for a number of years and reckon they rank as follows: Twitter: Haven't seen overly good results for services, but products do well from this form of marketing. However, of late, users are more interested in building up followers (it's become saturated) Facebook: Great for marketing services and products. A good opportunity to showcase ideas about your business. Linkedin: Don't recall seeing this site on this thread: It's great for networking, particularly if it's a service you're offering!
Facebook. As for twitter, I don,t really make use of it and i don't know how. To me, facebook is the best.
Actually these two Facebook and Twitter is most popular and powerful social tool, there are also other that is also powerful but lies in later from these two. So we are discussing and deciding the best one from these two.
Both are same in the sense only as a powerful social media marketing tool, but are far apart from each other as having different functionalities, concept and everything concerned as features lies there.
I think Twitter.... in facebook u can only have 5000 friends in Twitter UNLIMITED follow me @12Magazine
Well, Facebook drives a LOT of traffic. even if you only have one friend and that friend/fan likes your content(like button ) , that friend's friend will see your content also and then that friend's friend's friend and so on. I tried twitter but it's just too "difficult" to use it. if you only have one follower, only that follower knows about your site. Since I added the facebook plugins to my site, traffic increased by 400%.
In my viewpoint Twiiter is the best traffic generator owing to it's ability to fetch people like the headlines of a newspaper does.
It depends on various factors. Is your customers most likely use facebook or twitter. Have you guys checkout how well you optimize a channel? So based on your industry, based on your locality, based on these stuffs select your tool and promote it.
Both Twitter and FB are good traffic sources. However, from my point of view FB works better than Twitter when starting from scratch. Obviously you need to add interesting and compelling content in both platforms but in FB you can combine it with FB ads, especially in the beginning in order to boost the number of people who "Like" your FB page (formerly "Fans"). Once you have lot of fans is easier to become viral. Besides I have recently started working with Youtube, and I have realised that when combined with FB & Twitter it is a really powerful tool to drive traffic.
facebook! even though their stupid filters are a super pain. i cant believe the things they are doing now. like not allowing more than 5 friends a day?!? still better than twitter. i also think twitter is bigger on the west coast for actual usage.
Means there is fan's chain facility for the viral marketing on your content. Well, that is good, it was beneficial to you for having such traffic increment for your web.
