Hello everybody. My site, in my signature link, lets the shopper enter a Discount/Coupon Code at check-out. For example, entering the code GIVEME10 will give the shopper 10% off their order. I know there is a huge window of opportunity to market coupon codes - but where? There seems to be so many "coupon code" sites - but very few of them let me submit my discount/coupon codes. Please can you share your experiences of marketing using coupon codes and how/where to submit them?
if you do not have an affiliate program and affiliates do this work for you, you will have to start it yourself - e.g post those coupons in forums, twitter, etc. If your coupons and merchandise is a good deal, it should be picked up by other people sharing those coupons and spreading the word for you.
well search engine marketing works pretty well, but make sure you ask your affiliate manager on the limitations of the keywords that you are suppose to market through the search engine. some restricts certain keywords, and they might even ban you if they found out that you have infringed these keywords
Spy on your competition, see what they do to get high in SERP's. There is a bunch of keyword spying programs to choose from.
Post your coupons on a coupon website. There are websites that you submit your information too and it posts your coupon all over.
dealofday is a popular website that does this... Check out everything about them in google.. If you look hard and smart enough you'll figure out exactly how they are advertising. Sign up for their newsletters, etc..
I have not seen any good coupon website yet that can help me in most fields relating to online business needs. If some one knows, please tell me.
