How to choose platform for blog

    Can any one telll me how to choose the best platform for my blog, and please explain what is a "BLOG PLATFORM"?

    The "Blog Platform" is the underlying application you use to post articles with.

    If you have your own hosting, you should install and use WordPress.

    If you don't have your own hosting use Blogger or WordPress.

    Blog plateform ..well there is two famous blog platform i.e. wordpress and Blogger
    if you're looking for just writing then try wordpress
    If you're looking for writing and affiilates try wordpress

    if you're looking for writing+affiliates+adsense revenue try blogger as wp do not support adsense.

    Just want to clarify that if you download and install your own instance of WordPress, it does support Google AdSense. There are even several plugins around, which can be used to place AdSense ads in your WordPress blog. On the other hand, if you want to have a blog for free from wordpress.com, then you have to accept WordPress.com TOS, which contains a good explanation concerning Advertising.

    I would recommend wordpress for self hosting while blogger if you dont have hosting.

    wordpress would have to be the platform for blogging, if you do not have any hosting or anything then i would suggest blogger which isn't too bad but doesn't compare with WP

    Dude, I must say go to GOOGLE and digg it which platform are suitable to you.. But I can say Blogger or Wordpress both of them are amazing..

    I would prefer to go with Wordpress in case of self hosting and would prefer blogger in case if I do not have hosting. However, there are so many other blogging platforms too that you can try.

    If you have hosting, you can use wordpress, but if you not have, you can use blogger :)

    Platform i think is just software which you use for your blog. In this case, best software would be Wordpress with no doubt :)

    I think WordPress is the best. I love my blog and wouldn't know what to do without it. ha ha.
    I recommend people get their own domain name and hosting when they decide to be a blogger. It's more professional and you look like a "leader" because you are one!
