I want to gather some cool ideas how you use Facebook to maximize your strategy. What are your techniques and what are the results.

    Thanks!

I targeted people who, I felt, were likely to be interested in my site, i.e. Aneurysm, Stroke, and AVM survivors. I have over 100 friends now and I try to make frequent postings-announce new forum members, updated to the site, etc. I do not have real heavy traffic anyway, due to the nature of the site, but do get some traffic from there, some days quite a bit. It is not a lot of effort and, in my opinion, worth the time.

A few things to remember when building links to your website(s) through your profile is to have your profile set to public. This means that people - that you don't have on your friend list - should be able to see your profile. The crawlers works that way. If your profile is set to only allow people on your friends list to view your profile - the links you're building won't even get indexed as the bot won't be able to crawl them.

Also remember building links to your profile. I haven't tested these out myself, but they should be working. If I'm not mistaken, a dude talked about this on his blog. Always remember, Google is your friend.
