Blogger vs wordpress

For starters it would blogger, as there are so many blogs for starting bloggers to help with their Problems...

 

I would also say Wordpress.You will get frequent updates and better SEO

as my experience I can suggest to use wordpress, its easy to maintain, if we compare FREE wordpress.com and FREE blogger.com that some points I got

Wordpress - can check Stats for web traffic
Blogger - No stats check
Wordpress - Allow to creat new pages
Blogger - can't make pages
Wordpress - Akismet (Anti-spam)
Blogger - None
Wordpress - easy to manage links
Blogger - Not easy

Its all my experience may be which I feel easy is tough for some other.

how to change hosting from blogspot to wp?

 

I believe the best choice is hosting your own blog, instad of depending on thrid-party services.

Besides, why someone should host a blog with wordpress where you can install the script in any domain or free subdomain without being attached to wordpress.org.

 

i prefer blogger for first time blogging..
and for self host i use wordpress

 

I prefered to used wordpress than bogger because you can customized the layout and contents of your blog using plugins that is really helpful.

I agree with mystique, but wordpress makes your life easier - SEO! and makes a considerable difference, I rather recommend - SELF HOSTED WORDPRESS BLOG, so that you can use its SEO optimized look (which is elegant and professional) and also, its SEO plug-in features!

I started with Blogger 4 years back and now am stick with wordpress. I love wordpress

 

Blogger gets my vote for ease of use any time. But Wordpress does have much more going for to expand it in a substantial website.
