What is the best software for auto submission to directories, RSS, bookmarks, etc.

    This is my first post!

I have read a lot of information and threads on this topic, but I really wanted to get more feedback from you guys.

What software have you used/use for automatic submission to article directories, RSS feeds, social bookmarking sites, website directories, and so on, that you think is worth what you paid?
Is there any, mother of all, program that does everything?
Is there a marketing strategy thats better than another?
    Should you do them all?

I am just looking to get the best bang for my buck, and I thought who better to ask than the guys at DigitalPoint Forum. Thanks in advance.

The BEST answer can't be answered the way you want in this forum.
The best Auto Submission falls under BLACK HAT which is not really acceptable here (at least I don't think)...

So, your question needs to be rephrased.. What is the best "White Hat....."

And the answer.... Don't bother..... There is no good White Hat program... No matter what anyone tells you

    Good luck

Thanks for the response. Well to be honest I don't want to get into black hat stuff, but I didn't know some of this was considered that. I know people have been very successful with auto submission software. I guess I will close it. lol.

I only recommend manual submission for directories, social bookmarks and any other place as manual submission is always true and search engine friendly.

I know people who say that SEO is black hat, they called me 'google whore'.

My business would be nowhere without some "black hat" due to the amount of competition these days. I simply have to create spam to compete with spam. In some areas doing things the clean way doesn't work anymore.

All the "We don't do black hat at Digital Point" is just a load of BS. Most of people money-focused (read: 99% of people on this forum) do it one way or another, there is no more line you can draw between black and white.

I appreciate the responses guys. I don't really see how some of this stuff is black hat, but I know, if used incorrectly, anything automatic could turn into spam.

I agree. If you use software for getting backlinks, you are risking your site to be degraded by Google.

The idea is... The Blackhat Tools "auto-spin" the articles... They rewrite the articles so you don't get hit by the Google Duplicate Content Curse.

So, if you are going to submit to 100 directories.. the blackhat software will automatically send a "unique, "rewritten" version of your original..

That is why it's black hat...

    With software it takes minutes

Auto Submission can take days because of the rewrite.

..........so... what the above poster said is true that if you want to compete you have to go blackhat....

    or at least gray hat

You could check out incansoft.com They offer several "bots" that are reasonable priced and the customer service is good. I have bought 2 bots from them and this has worked well for me.

you can use submitterbot its a semi automated directory submission tool which is free. Its semi automated because you still have to enter in the captchas for each directory.

what makes you think its blackhat? If I write an article, and submit a spun version of it to a gazillion directories, that's my privilege. What gives you or anyone else the right to question what I'm doing? After all, I don't question it when *you* submit the exact same article to a gazillion directories (or 'fill the web with 'spam', as it's known).

Auto submitting articles and RSS feeds to directories etc is NOT Black Hat at all. Just because something is automated doesn't mean it's Black Hat. Too many people drink the Google propaganda Kool-Aid and have unjustified fears as a result.

    A couple things to remember:

    1. Google has publicly stated that they WILL NOT penalize you for links to your site. As a result, as long as you aren't placing black hat content (like questionable outbound links) ON YOUR SITE then you are completely safe. Just imagine if Google did penalize sites for links TO a site, it would be the Wild West all over again and website owners would be able to easily tank their competitors' sites. Google is not stupid and they have publicly stated that this is not the case.

    2. Google has stated there is no duplicate content "penalty." Rather, in a recent post on the Google Webmaster Central Forum, they publicly state that in reality they won't penalize a site for duplicate content because you can't control if somebody copies and re-publishes your content. Instead, the so-called "penalty" is Google just won't give credit to duplicate content it finds.

So feel safe using tools to automate your posting and publishing. It will make your life a lot easier. And you can sleep well at night because Google WILL NOT punish you for off-site activity. At worst, you just won't get credit for it.

    Good luck!

    Tom
