    Hi
if you're interested in currencies trading (and finance in general) you might want to check out my site, tradeOver, http://www.tradeover.net - it's a trading simulation, you can invest in currencies (also in major stocks, commodities, world indexes, ...)

    Cheers!

According to my experience investors always make more than traders no matter it is in stocks/realestate/gold or currency ...

buy currencies of countries which have good GDP growth . investing in those currencies may give you better yeild .

As a bit of a follow up, investing in currencies is one thing, but if you are looking to make the real money, buying foreign stocks, with a positive currency outlook is the best way to make real money.

IE: China/India, buying stocks in company from these countries is a great way to not only gain the advantage by the currency exchange, but also the increase in the stock of the company.

Providing the end user with double the gain.

IB's new platform is great. They narrowed pip spread to 1 pip on most major including EUR/USD, GBP/USD and 2 pips on some small majors USD/CAD. They offer 2.5 mini-lots which means every pip equal to $2.5

But still I'm seeking reliable option broker on forex. Mostly on writing purposes. I have some hedging strategies.

I would be very intrested to learn more about your programme. picouli

We are branching out to futures trading but most of my clients of course are not going to dump 10k in an account before they are confident with themselves.
We do forex right now and my members are happy and so I'm I .Been trading now for 5 yrs

if you are intrested i'd promote your offer if I knew it is good.

Im a trader here since January this year, forex is a good market and its growing really fast I see huge potential for it, so a good time to get into it is now...but like every business venture its full of risks but high gains and it's much more flexible than stocks.

My advice to you if you want to start trading is get some education first (no pun intended) read as much as you can about currency trading and then get a demo account and start trading with virtual money, once you feel ready try a few real trades with money and see how that goes.

Set a realistic goal say 5 pips per trade as a beginner and try to get no more than 20 pips per day then get back to the books. Also a good recommendation would be to watch how the markets move on certain news announcements.

Then come up with a plan and trade your plan you must be consistent. Try aiming for something that makes you feel confortable, for example I tried trading by aimig for 100 pips per trade and like topaffiliateprogram said I wanted to be an investr but soon I discovered I didn't like this, cos Id be green (profit) then suddenly next day red (loss) It made me feel uncomfortable, Im happier with open a trade make 15-10 pips and get out quick sure profits.

Another thing you will hear being talked about a lot is don't trade with emotions, be emotionless, well I never really understood this till I made my first real loss and took a good blow My $100 investment went to $500 in 3 months then down to $10 in less than a week. was I pissed? Heck no! It was the best day ever LOL I went and celebrated. I understood what emotionless trading meant.

It doesnt mean you become like a rock or a snake and trade no far from it, what it means is, let me explain it this way, you wake up in the morning everythng is good you go to work and suddenly you hear some really goood news say somethng like you got a raise, your soooo excited and your so happy your friends tell you treat us for dinner tonight. Since your really happy overfilled with emotions of joy you cant really think straight and you let your emotions do the decision making, you agree everyone comes out you have a great time and next thing you know your entire raise is gone and you didnt have any time to spend it with your family.

Thats what emotionless trading means don't let Joy (in forex GREED) overwhelm you and make your trading decisions. this is a problem I had, I was entering trades without studying properly because "Theres money floating there right now enter you can always exit when it becomes green, ok now its green exit, no wait wait it can get higher and higher, wait just a little bit more, ok just one more pip last pip......BAAAAAAAAAM money gone pips red.

Also don't let Fear control you, if you have a doubt then by all means stay out of the trade. You see both emotions work together, fear will keep you from profits by making you pull out of trades with hardly any money and greed will suck your account dry....

My words of wisdom as a trader 10 months now

I too am still looking for a reliable, reasonable broker for options too. Not writing, just trading. Had a misserable experience with a broker in Cyprus, was lucky to escape with my money back. Moved my funds to Saxo Bank.

Only to get nearly wipped out shorting silver a couple hours too early on the night it peaked out above $15/oz in April.

For my trading style, options offer the best risk management while still having lots of leverage (as long as i'm buying, not writing). But it is hard to find a broker with good option spreads and fees. And don't mind that i am flipping them so fast.

Old broker would up the spreads after succesful trades to the point that i would be breaking even on trades that, on paper, where profitable by like 50 to 70%. Broker was just scalping my profits. Some of those wildly succesful trades even made me a loss???? Took me a while to realize it by reading monthly account statements. They were also charging more than they stated for gold and silver options. They did reverse those extra fees after i complained. Then when i was about to jump ship, I placed a big bet on a move in gold, to get back the near 2 grand i was down. Closed that trade with my account near break even and got them to transfer my funds to Saxo the next day.
