Spain survived its first-round loss to Switzerland. Now it advances to the quarterfinals. What if Spain would be defeated by Paraguay?
Paraguay have been extremely lucky to scrape their way through this far. I can see Spain winning this 3-0/4-0 easily.
I read a good headline in the newspaper yesterday... 'Where there's a Villa... there's a way!' I guess... Spain will sail through, with Villa in excellent striking form! Regards, RightMan
In the match between Paraguay and Japan, it was the only penalty kick situation so far for this World Cup. Both Japan and Paraguay played terrible that time.
Well whenever we say Spain will do it this time, they always fail and if they fail again, I wouldn't be surprise after their long history at bigger stages.
I'm counting on Paraguay to cause an upset in this one. Or maybe its just me not wanting Spain to go through
something strange in this year's world cup. The underdogs always win. Underdog Netherlands won against Brazil. Underdog Germany won against world favorite Argentina.
I can't say Germany is Underdog team, they always come with second favorite team after Brazil and their performance in all World Cup always proved it!
