Google Notice? Violating terms, although I don't.

    Hey there,

today out of nowhere I get this E-mail:

I have this proxy website up for almost a year, and in the past 6 months it didn't even make one single cent! And before that it made about 1$ overall.

According to Google there is suppose to be "adult" material on that website?

Someone please tell me where they can find "adult" material on http://unblockthatwebsite.info

Yes it's a proxy website and technically people can look up porn with it.
But the URL is cookie locked, meaning even if you look at porn and then give that proxy link to someone else, they won't be able to display that website, so a google crawler can't look at it either.

And there is also no Google Adsense on the proxy page it self, so it couldn't even violate the "displaying ads on pages that provide links for or drive traffic to adult or mature sites."

How do I tell google that they must have made a mistake?

If you're not making any money off of it, why not just take adsense off the homepage?

I will do that anyways, but it still annoys me that this is totally absurd, accusing me of having adult material on my website.
This forum DigitalPoint violates about a dozen rules and nothing is being done about it. And a small website that makes not even a single cent and is not violating any rules is being under investigation and accused of having adult material on the website.

Be happy, that they didn't ban your account. Just remove the ads from that website and go ahead with your other website

Can't do that. It says so in the header of the E-Mail: This message was sent from a notification-only email address that does not
accept incoming email. Please do not reply to this message.

Yeah, seems we have the exact same problem. I wonder what went wrong at Google.

    Will do.

I have been getting the same message for 2 weeks. I just removed adsense from the proxy site of mine. I think that Google is not going to be allowing adsense on proxies any more. The link examples they gave me was pages people went to on my proxy that was an adult site.
I would say remove the Adsense and use a different advertiser. It's not worth the risk.

Googles direct standing on proxy sites :

"Publishers are permitted to place Google ads on the homepages of anonymous proxy sites, but not in the frames around pages viewed through the proxy. The concern is that the publisher is unable to control the content of pages framed by his ads."

Really? It's not just one rule, but dozens!

    Here are just a few"

    Well let's see...
    - DP has a Trade Section for Porn Websites! Lots of links to porn sites.
    - In the Trade Section, Freebies and eBooks, people sell hacking content. They even sell books on how to use illegal tricks for Google Adsense.
    - Again in the Freebies and eBook section, you can buy books about click fraud!
    - In the service section you can buy services who pay you to read emails
    - Service section again, you can buy YouTube views and traffic!

And DP displays in certain forums their Google Ads within the text of the first post of the thread, which makes it look like its something the user wrote.
Its against this: "Ad Placement: AdSense code may not be placed in inappropriate places [...] Placed on pages whose content or URL could confuse users into thinking [...]" etc.

I think you get the point. These are just 6 violations of the top of my head.

I have a forum with 50'000 posts, and a user once linked to youporn as a joke, and a few days later I get a notice!
And then my website got blocked because I place google ads within the Post of the users... which DP does all the time!

Yes you are correct in all you say, but the "great" google minds think otherwise so not much you can do

Best thing is just pure and simple dont use them, what can be hard tough as there isnt really any other really good alternative to them (at least paying as them :p)

If I click on that link, it brings me to the main page with the URL entered, but it won't automatically jump to that page until you hit browse! So there is no way of having a direct url any other site. When ever you go to any link from http://unblockthatwebsite.info you will always end up on the main page. Unless a Google employee actually puts in porn on purpose.

    +1.

This site (DP) is pretty guilty itself and lucky Google has not shut them down. They violate Google Adsense rules as well as their own forum rules. I guess they don't give a shit.
