Which UNIX Operatinog system using in UNITED STATES....!

    i mean unix - opensolaris ?

    or what.., because, some of our friends are said opensolaris is good and widely using....so am asking..!

    And just to know which platform using in USA

    I would also like to know why. In my experience, Unix(-like) operating systems have always been more effective than those made by Microsoft.

    All of them. OpenSolaris is very good. So are the BSDs. All of them run rings around Windows and spit in its face. The internet runs on *nix.
